If you really knew me then you would know that I like cool breezes, the warm sun, and laying in cold grass.
That I love being outside, but don't like how my shirt smells when I go back inside.
You would know that I'm a strong swimmer and love the ocean, but I never swim because I don't like taking off my shirt and the sea is too far away.
If you really knew me, then you would know that I have a good sense of humor, but only laugh when I think something is funny. And that there is a big difference between my real laugh and my fake laugh.
You would know that I stress about my grades and my friends and that I bottle it all up inside of me.
If you really knew me then you would know that I love to see other people smile, so I make jokes and act like an idiot just so I have a chance to make someone else happy.
If you really knew me then you would know that I get too nervous to try to hold the hand of the girl that I like.
You would know that I'm stronger than I look, but am a really big baby and don't like fighting or weight lifting or excersice. But that I love to play sports with other people and compete with kids who are better than me by far.
If you really knew me then you would know that I think I look nice straight on but that I hate my side profile. And that whenever we did self portraits in art I always drew my neck too think and my nose too small because it looked better.
That my biggest fear is not being able to be what I can be. To not reach my potential.
If you really knew me then you would know that I wish I really knew some of you.

My sister made this "love rhombus" and put me in it. Why? I have no idea, but I thought that it looked cool, so I'm posting it. Haha, I especially liked how she labeled the Mormons :) we rule!

How to Tie a Tie
I don't know if there is any one way to explain how to tie a tie because there are so many different ways to tie one.
This is how you apparently tie the "simple knot" which I know how to do, but it looks like crap so I don't use that knot.
I'm not going to explain how to tie this knot because there's a picture to show you but I will tell you that the more you tie it, the better you will get at it.
I guess that last statement is true about a lot of things in life. The more that you do something the better you get at it.
I'm not saying that practice will make perfect but it will definately help you improve, so practice tieing a tie, and more importantly practice what you love to do and become great at it.
I WAS WRONG ABOUT POETRY
This is an apology to poetry. I'm sorry I said that I didn't like you. I was just scared and didn't know what to say. I hope you can forgive me and give me a second chance.

Falling Truth
Have you ever been with someone and started to love that person for how they make you feel inside? Not for how they look or act but for how they treat you and others? For how they make you happy just by smiling at you? And not for their kisses or for the things you get by being with them? Have you ever started to fall for someone because of the words they feel and not because of the words they say?
I think I'm beginning to...and I really love it.
Jealous Much?
Robert Frost said that he took the path less traveled...why? Why would he take the one that is less traveled and probably harder? I don't really know the answer to that question but it makes me wonder what type of man he was. Probably brave and strong. And he probably didn't mind doing a difficult task. I think that he was good man, humble and willing, It makes me want to be like him. Courageous, humble, firm, undaunted...all the things that I'm not, but hope to be someday. It makes me jealous. I'm pretty sure that jealousy is a negative emotion, but I can't help but feel that it has the potential to make us great. It gives us a drive and a motive to go after something that could be wonderful or not. In my case I think its good. My jealousy makes me want to be better. Not to impress other, but to help others and not to be better than anyone, but to thank them for helping me along the way. I am jealous, not of other people, but of what I have the potential to become. And that's who I strive to be.

How to Cry
Step One
Bottle up all pain that you feel and hold it in for as long as you possibly can.
Step Two
It feels so good to let all the pain flow out through the purest and simplest way humanly possible... a tear.
Moon
I've always thought that the moon is beautiful. I used to watch it from my bed room window when I couldn't sleep. It just seemed to calm me and loved the feeling of peace that it gave me. I love how it looks, I love the faint glow it gives during the night, and how pure and white it looks in the black sky. But I've always wondered how something so majestic could be so far away. It makes me envious that it can show its beauty from so far away. I also wonder what the moon is. Scientist say that its just a gray rock that orbits our planet, but I want to believe that it's more that. I want to believe that man never stepped foot on the moon. That man never tainted its radiance by stepping on it. I want to believe that it's not just a rock, but that its brilliance comes from within it and that it's alive. I want to believe that I might be able to walk on it someday, but I wonder what I would think if I did. I'm scared that if I walk on it I might discover that it's just a bare, gray rock floating in the middle of no where.

SPACE CAMP
I remember going to space camp. I remember the other kids that were there with me. I remember orientation and getting assigned to a space ship. I remember my crew and the brave faces they put on when we received our mission. I remember being the pilot. I remember my captain. I remember being nervous when she talked to me about what route we were taking. I remember her touching me and telling me that I was good at flying the ship. I remember things going wrong. I remember being attacked by enemy fighters. I remember my captain yelling at me to do evasive maneuvers. I remember panicking. I remember being trapped and then boarded by aliens. I remember being shot at. I remember her getting taken hostage. I remember pain from the laser hitting me in the leg as I watched them drag her away. I remember confusion, anger and frustration as the surviving crew realized what had just happened. I remember the first officer taking command and organizing a rescue mission. I remember climbing back into my chair touching the controls of the ship. I remember flying the ship once again, but this time she was crippled and difficult to control. I remember landing on enemy grounds. I remember being a part of the rescue team. I remember not getting a phaser because I wasn't a security guard. I remember sneaking into the base and rescuing the captain. I remember picking up a phaser from a dead alien and joining the fight. I remember escorting her back the the ship were she was in command once again. I remember finishing the mission. I remember flying my cripple space ship back to control. I remember the captain thanking me for rescuing her. I remember her telling me how brave I was. I remember a soft warm hug and a peck on my cheek as she said goodbye. I remember wishing that camp wasn't over. I was 10 years old and desperately remember wishing that space ships and aliens were real just so I could have an adventure for a little while longer. I wish I was 10 again.
Mama's Sandwiches
This post goes out to my friend's mom for making me a couple of delicious sandwiches. Thank you so much, they were so good. If we knew each other better, then I would go to your house and give you a giant hug. I know that sounds weird, but those sandwiches really were dang good. I tried my best to make them last and savor every bite, but as soon as my teeth sank into them, they were gone. That was a really sad moment that day. I thought that I heard my heart crack a little. Please make them again soon. Not a day goes by that I don't crave the juiciness of one those sandwiches. I'll try to patiently wait, but I don't know how long I'll last. Love you lots and thanks again.

Why Astronauts Shouldn't Eat Baked Beans
What a weird commercial. I liked it but it is really random...enjoy :)
Dear Satan,
Please stop tempting me and trying to kill me, I don't really like when you do that sort of thing. I'm only a teenager and would like to live a little bit more before I die and you try to take me. Also I would rather go to heaven and not hell, so stop tempting me to do bad. I know that you want me to go down with you but I'd rather not. Hell seems so undesirable and I hear that it's like a thousand degrees down there. That sucks. I think that the only reason that you want to tear others down and bring them to your level is because you're jealous of the good people who get to go to heaven. That's it, isn't it? Whatever Satan, just because you're jealous doesn't mean that you act like a jerk. When I die I hope that we don't have to meet, because if we do, I will probably kick you right in your sack. Stop tempting and killing me!

My Music
I know that I don't have a lot of songs on my playlist, I just don't have a lot of time to add to my grooveshark account. I'll try to add more to my playlist, even though I bet that no one really listens to my music selection. Music is important and we should try to use it to connect us more. Hope you enjoy my songs, I know that I've enjoyed some of yours :)
Our Fears
"Fear is an unpleasant emotion induced by a threat perceived by living entities, which causes a change in brain and organ function and ultimately a change in behavior, such as running away, hiding or freezing from traumatic events. Fear may occur in response to a specific stimulus happening in the present, or to a future situation, which is perceived as risk to health or life, status, power, security, or in the case of humans wealth or anything held valuable. The fear response arises from the perception of danger leading to confrontation with or escape from /avoiding the threat (also known as the fight-or-flight response), which in extreme cases of fear (horror and terror) can be a freeze response or paralysis."
-Wikipedia
That is the wikipedia definition of fear, but thats not how we understand fear. We need to know theses questions. First, what is it that we as humans fears most? Second what causes us to fear certain things? Third how do we conquer our fears?
First, humans have all sorts of fears and phobias that don't make a lot of sense. But a lot of fears are real and can really affect us. What am I afraid of? Well, one of my biggest fears is other people giving up on me. If others give up on me, then I would give up on myself and I would probably give up my will to try, feel, love, and even live. And that scares me a ton.
Second, many things cause fear. Experiences, weird disorders, images, stories. The list goes on and on. I don't think that we should try to avoid gaining or learning fear, but we should find better ways to get past them and react to them. One experience that gave me fear for a while was getting a gun shot right next to my ear. That caused me to jump or twitch whenever there was a really loud sound.
Third, like before there are many was to react and try to respond to our fears. Most of these ways can be broken into two categories, flight or fight. We can avoid them and run away, hoping that they eventually go away. Or we can face them and try to beat them and conquer them. I don't really know which one is the best. My fears just kinda go away after a while, they just fade into nothing I guess.

What Are You Doing?
Have you ever seen somebody do something and you can't help but think "What on earth are you doing?" And you think this because someone is doing something completely unorthodox or stupid or they are doing something that they have no idea how to do. And when you see them doing that thing, you have one of two reactions. The first one is you go and interrupt that person and demand to know what they are doing and why they think they can even attempt to do that. The second one is you just sit there and watch them fail at whatever they are doing or just laugh at them because they look so ridiculous while doing it. Which ever option you do, we all get this facial expression and exclaim "What are you doing?"
